Transform the oblique mountain fold into an oblique valley fold.

Continue to follow the horizontal axis of symmetry until you reach another point from which two folds originate, (one valley fold and one mountain fold), results of the manipulation described in step 21.
Step 25.
Transform the valley fold into a mountain fold.

Step 26.
Hold the kite with your left hand, the long pointed tip directed at 9 o’clock, the valley fold corresponding to the horizontal axis of symmetry, ceiling side.

Lift the right tip of the fold, using the two existing oblique valley folds.

Lower the tip currently directed towards the ceiling, table side, using the existing mountain folds.

The tip is now oriented at 8 o'clock. Firmly crease the fold, then unfold.

Turn the valley fold made in the previous step into a mountain fold. Firmly crease the fold, then unfold.
Step 34.
Turn the valley/mountain fold into an inside reverse fold.
Step 35.
Open the tip, reduce its length by folding back its end once or twice, then close the tip thus transformed.

Step 36.
Assembly.
Hold the giraffe's neck with your left hand, and the body with your right hand.
Slide the double-thickness triangular flap, located at the base of the giraffe's neck, between the left points of the first fold.
Then push so that the two fit together.
