Step 1.
Create a kite base, lay it flat on the table, with the sharp point facing 12 o'clock.
Step 2.
Form a valley fold, horizontally, by bringing the lower point up to the upper point.
Crease well and leave folded.
additional information
- You get a shape with two flaps, connected by a horizontal hinge edge at the bottom
- The top flap has 5 sides: bottom horizontal, bottom left, top left, top right, bottom right
- The bottom flap is a triangle, whose base is the hinge edge
Step 3.
Form a valley fold, by bringing the bottom left edge over to the right, along the vertical symmetry axis. Fold through all layers.
Crease well and leave folded.
Step 4.
Make a valley fold by bringing the bottom right edge from right to left, along the vertical symmetry axis. Fold through all layers.
Crease the fold well, and leave folded.
additional information
- You obtain a shape with a fixed trapezoid part at the bottom, and two flaps connected by a horizontal hinge edge (which is the top side of the trapezoid).
- The top movable flap has 5 sides: bottom horizontal, bottom left, top left, top right, bottom right.
- The bottom movable flap is a triangle, with its base being the hinge edge.
Step 5.
Make a valley fold by bringing the top movable flap from top to bottom, resting on the horizontal axis (the top side of the trapezoid).
Well mark the fold, then lift it vertically (this is the sail of our windsurf board).
